Colored Canyon is a labyrinth of rocks in the Wadi Watir near Nuweiba. It’s almost 800 m long. It got its name as its walls are presented by different rock formations from sandstone to limestone, granite and veins of basalt that gives them colored striped structure.
After pick up from hotel you will ride by jeeps towards Nuweiba and then straight across desert dunes. Reaching the Canyon Mountain you’ll start walking by feet. In some places Canyon’s walls become narrow, in other parts you’ll need to slide or to jump but all the path is surmountable even for kids. Just keep your hands free and follow the guide. He will show you the most magnificent, safe and interesting way. The sun will give you totally nice colors for any of your pictures. All hike will take almost two hours, driver will be waiting for you all the time.
After finishing this activity you’ll go to Nuweiba for lunch near seacost and then return back to Sharm.
