Cairo by bus over night

Visit ancient Wonders of the World and great monuments of Muslim part of Egyptian history in one trip to Cairo!

This trip is suitable for those who wish to go by untraditional for Europeans route in Cairo.

We’ll start you 2-days tour from transfer by big comfortable air-conditioned bus along desert roads straight to Ahmed Sandy tunnel located under Suez Canal. After passing the tunnel you’ll have stop to relax and then continue your travel to the capital of Egypt.

FIRST DAY

After arriving to Cairo you’ll get acquainted with your personal Egyptologist – English speaking guide – who will follow you up to the end of all your excursions. Two main places of interest in Cairo –  the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and Giza Pyramids – you will investigate this historical day in your life. Why historical you may ask? Confidently to go in touch with ancient treasures of Egyptian culture, come inside one of the World Wonders – this is a real gift you could found once in your life. Of course you may know a lot of people who visit Pyramids and Sphinx several times but the first one is always something unbelievable.

In the morning you’ll come to Egyptian Museum. In its specially designed dozens of halls you’ll find treasures of Pharaonic tombs, thousand years old papyruses. No one will pass by mummies and reenactment of the Egyptians’ life style in the New Kingdom.

In the afternoon you’ll visit 3 the most famous Pyramids in the world – Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Optionally for additional fee you could go inside one of their small brothers – Hetepheres, Meret-ites or Henut-sen. After you imagine yourself archaeologist like from “The Mummy” movie this is not the finish of your day story. You also will visit Papyrus Institute where whole process of papyrus production will be shown to you. Bring special souvenirs from this stop to your friends.

A rich program of the day comes to finish and nice evening is waiting for you. Start your rest from lunch in the restaurant. Share collection of your today photos with friends. Enjoy Nile view or take small boat trip by the river (available for extra fee).

After lunch we’ll take you to the Pyramids Hotel. Common way to check in is double room. But single room is also available for 15$ extra fee. Half board.

After dinner you’ll have a free time for walking along narrow streets of Old Cairo and get an idea how to while away the evening traditionally like Egyptians or expats.

SECOND DAY

This day is devoted to Muslim attractions of the Cairo. First stop after breakfast and check out the hotel will be the great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque in Cairo Citadel. It’s the most beautiful and famous all over the world mosque in Cairo was built between 1830 and 1848. Entering it you’ll be stunned by the richness and majesty of decoration. And you’re allowed to take so many photos as you want! In Citadel you’ll not notice how you’ll spend more than 2 hours.

After rest during lunch you’ll catch more delight and impressions by visiting noisy oriental Khalili bazaar. Try to be strong and do not buy all souvenirs here. You can also have amusing practice how to bargain.

Fully satisfied you’ll return back in Sharm El Sheikh near midnight.
